    It will have done some damage. Like smoking, even if you quit some damage is done. I suggest you"quit".

    But how? Uninstall? Is there anything else that makes it faster? Like app open close animation?

    Yeah uninstall. When planetbeing's overclock comes out you can use that to increase your CPU speed by ~100 MHz and you should notice a performance increase.

    If you keep using it, your iPod will be completely dead in the next 3 years. Or if you don't use it every waking moment, then 6 or 7 something. Current storage technology would last so long that worrying about damage is irrelevant... It's 10 years after 2000 now... Don't draw conclusions based on tests done more than 5 years ago.

    As proof, no one has ever reported about an iPod or iPhone dying from the use of apps. Most die from broken screens or buttons, or both...
