I'm going to be buying a MacBook Pro sometime in July.

I wanted the 13" but then I looked and found I can get the 15" refurbished for around the same price.

Do you think it'd be worth it?

Also, is there any possible way to get the free iPod Touch w/o being in college?

i bought it using my sister's university e-mail.. she gave me the login and i logged in on one of the macs in front of the salesman
so if you know someone with your last name currently in college you can try it this way

I'm going to be buying it online..

But I just went and looked and all you need to do is pick a college and it gives you the discount. cooool.

BTW. How hard is it to upgrade the HD? Should I pick the upgrade from apple? or use a 3rd party HD.

Upgrading the HD is actually not hard at all. You unscrew a few screws, swap the hard drives out, and screw it back in. I'm sure there's an in depth guide somewhere.
