could you get firefox or IE on your ipod instead of safari?

    I don't think that would be a solid confirmation, it could be possible with the SDK.

    I heard that Opera was working on one.

    Which would be nice. Until Apple gets its head out of its ass and fixes that damned history-forgetting problem.

    I still kind of doubt it will happen, but considering SDK (as the person above said), it could potentially happen.

    yeah who cares what internet browser, as long as you can search, I don't know about you guys but I'd rather use my laptop rather than my iPod, unless I'm on the road, but my laptop is with me as well, so no need for the internet.

    I wouldn't really care what browser I'd have on my Touch, I would just like to have a tabs feature instead of a new page, that would be very nice

    I could see it functioning similar to the AIM app we were showed in the SDK video, just swipe your finger to switch tabs (You could maybe only do this when you have the full webpage zoomed out to avoid sliding the page around on accident.)

    They are working on a firefox browser for mobile phones.
    Also i already have it on my iPhone
