Well, I'm planning to jailbreak my iPod as soon as I get it. I want to use redsn0w since that is the best "untethered" jailbreaker, right? I don't want to have to connect it to my computer just to turn it on.

How do I apply a new bootlogo with redsn0w and can this be used as a bootlogo?

Shouldn't be a problem. Upload the file for the image and I will grab it and format to the right specs and see if it will work.

Ok, I got it and it should be fine. It already is in RGB with an Alpha layer and the size is only 24kb. Just needs to be 320x480

must be at 320 x 480, but you can fix that by adding transparency to the top and botom to fill the extra 160 pixel height

Nope. Look in the customisation tutorials section for that stuff.

No, this is a boot logo, instead of the Apple logo you see every time to boot up.
