Everyone with a jailbroken ipod or iphone knows that no matter what happens you will always be jailbroken. the only way that you cant be jailbroken is if in a new model of the iphone or ipod comes out with a hardware that you cant hack. but what if in a fw update they do something where you can be jailbroken but it blocks all of the jb apps and themes. could that be possible?

IF something like that did happen, (i don't know if they can) "we" could just patch (or other means) it out of the firmware.

Apple has said that they won't design firmware updates to block third-party modifications, excluding iPhone unlocks.

But kewlgreen is right, even if they did that the Dev Team would patch it out of the firmware, just like they patch out baseband updates to ensure ultrasn0w compatibility.
