Ok, my iPod got f'ed up and I had to restore, I couldn't reboot it with blackra1n, and now I have a boring, 3.1.3, 3g, iPod touch, trying to find a way to jailbreak it, so I thought could Total Commander with T-Pot hack the iPod touch, it access's the iPod and shows what's on it so couldn't you install rock or cydia by putting it along with the other apps. Just a thought

No. Simply moving Cydia over to your iPod is not jailbreaking it.

The point of jailbreak is to enable root access to the file system - so Total Commander wouldn't be able to access anything outside of /var/mobile/Media... which means you can't install Cydia through Total Commander, since Cydia needs root access and also needs to copy files to several system folders.

At this point, I'd have to say 'wait for the jailbreak, if there is one', or recommend that you just use it normally since your purchased iTunes applications will work whether or not you're jailbroken.

You can jailbreak it with redsn0w 0.9.4. It supports 3rd gen iPod 3.1.3 jailbreak.

There is currently NO jailbreak for the iPod Touch 3G 32/64gb which use new hardwarewith 3.1.3. See the Jailbreak forum for more info, or please check with iPhone-dev to confirm what redsn0w is compatible with before use.

Please do not post misleading 'help'.
