could the apple 2009 event be a start of a new ipod or the loss of an old ipod

    rumors goin around the web about the loss of the ipod classic and the start of a new one.i guess not to lose the ipod classic because its was the start of all ipods
    i dont no let see what apple has to say on the 9th of september

    the only way the classic will stay is if it has like, 250gb of memory

    i wouldnt miss it. while the capacity is nice, optical hard drives are horrible to use in MP3 players. every ipod i had previous to my touch crapped out within 2 years because of hard drive problems. my ipod touch i got on launch day is still going strong.

    It would be cool if they brought the iPod mini back, it would be similar to the 3G iPod nano (Mini-iPod classic) with updated features, people liked that fat-nano & the skinny-nanos.

    The classic will probably be dead soon. It's rubbish and huge (physically).
    Nano (or Nano touch) will stay and so will the iPod touch, nothing new.

    yeah my ipod touch has a pretty good drive anyways i don't think they'll drop the classic it's too cool
