Could some help get my wi-fi back

    Ok so some water had gotten in my ipod touch and it still wake mostly except for wi-fi. I cant connect to the internet or internet base apps(on the main page of google but i cant shearch anything) but some apps work. This wifi bar under settings is gray and say "No Wi-Fi" could someone please help me get back wi-fi.

    Ouch i think thats the wifi hardware issues, hmm try a hard reset and if it dont work, tKe it
    to apple and said my ipod touch isnt connecting to the internet, all it say is no wifi. Oh yeah dont say that you got your ipod touch wet or else you will have to buy another ipod touch at current price

    yea the water must have damaged the wifi part of the device. Check to see if the litmus paper turned pink in the dock or headphone jack. If its pink-redish color your out of luck with a free replacement.

    Theres a sensor in your headphone jack that they check with a uv light to see if you dropped it in water. Its still worth a shot though. Goodluck.

    Yea the paper turned pink in the headphone jack and i did hard reset it.

    Apple isnt going to replace it then, best you can do is to buy a new one or try to repair it.

    Ouch sorry to hear that, there goes $199 idevice, i say just buy the part itself and replace it
