If u had firmware 1.1.3 on ur ipod, could u shift+Check for updates then downgrade to 1.1.1 and then jailbreak and then upgrade to 1.1.2 jailbreak and then to a jailbroken 1.1.3? If u could do this, couldnt u keep all of ur music and stuff thru out? Then u wouldnt have to waste time and sync ur music and stuff back to ur ipod.....just wonderin......

If by songs and stuff you mean apps too- no becaus when you shift-check for updates /restore the firmware file you choose isnt pre-jailbroken- its not like you can shift- restore and when done unlock- and installer.app is already there but for songs and videos and stuff like that just resync with iTunes
