Hello, I haven't really posted much on this forum but here I go..

Okay, my battery on my iPod is like not lasting me long enough, I have to charge it way to often, maybe it's because I listen to music all the time, and use the Internet alot.

Okay let's get to my question.. Will an iPhone 3gs battery (higher mah) fit into an iPod touch 2nd gen? Sizewise? Has anyone ever done this before?

And I really don't want to get an external battery because.. Yeah, I just wan my battery to last longer... And I don't want somthing on the outside of my iPod..

I had a website for batteries for these iPods and phones but I lost it!

Haha.. So pretty much what I'm asking is what are the dementions of the iPhone 3gs battery, and the dementions of the iPod touch 2nd gen battery.. And if there would be any "wiggle room" in the iPod.

    Thanks!

This is from apple insider (not sure if I can post link) states that the iphone battery is thicker and basically describes where the room in the ipod/iphone goes.

Um well, that may be a problem. In an iPod touch, the processor, memory, disk, and battery are all found squeezed in on the bottom. Fitting in a bigger battery could be a problem. if u were comfortable with "cutting" the back plating and putting some makeshift cover on the bottom, it could work.

    Thanks guys!
So I don't think I'll be able to fit a larger battery inside of there dangit..
I had alot of stuff type a moment ago, but I did somthing causeing me to
loose the page. Dangit haha, but long story short,
is the iPods battery a 1 cell or 2 cell? Parellel, or series?

And does anybody know if there is any space in the iPod that isn't occupied by stuff? Like maybe enough to fit another battery in there? Then I could putthe batterys in parellel and then have great power.
