    I have a Blackberry for work and it is synchronized with my office desktop Outlook for mail, contacts, and calendar.

    Is there any way that I can import the contacts to my Touch?

    Thanks.

    Why don't you just set up an Exchange Server account on the iPod?

    Thanks guys, but unfortunately I am far from a techie, so I don't know what an exchange server really is.

    ZhiZhi778, is there a way that I can get the contacts (as opposed to calendar) from my BB into the Touch? Or is this addressed in your response somehow and I just don't understand it?

    Thanks.

    yes there is a way:

    1. sync your BB with outlook
    2. read: http://webworkerdaily.com/2007/10/08/synch-your-google-calendar-and-contacts-with-ms-outlook/
    do this sync but only one way (outlook -> google)
    3. read http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/02/calendar-and-contact-syncing-for-iphone.html
    setup google calendar as an exchange server on ipod (use google to do that) and choose one way sync (google -> ipod)
    4. you're done, open your contacts app and you'll see the contacts (remarked the arrow in the upper left corner of contacts.app? tap it

    )

    //EDIT: yeah Google Calendar (!) is a bit confusing but google syncs contacts too, yeah

    Thanks again ZhiZhi, but what if the Outlook is on my desktop at work, which blocks access to my google account? Will this still work?

    BTW, didn't you have an avatar before?
