I was wondering if there were any cool mods I could do with my iPod Touch 2G WITHOUT ruining it. Post some suggestions on what I should do.

Delete the filesystem then try to do something.

You could get backgrounding, wallpapers and battery percentage thru .plist edits

    A quick search should suffice

I edit the plist, in the springboard.app, N****.plist... depending on your model. I do all themes without Winterboard, wastes system resources and memory. I do everything I can to limit the number of dylibs as possible. You can also disable launch daemons. You can do all this SSH/SFTP protocol.

I can do a lot of themes, but don't miss understand what I mean... I mean all the themes I do on my iPhone are through SSH/SFTP and file modding from iFile.

Change System Sounds in the directory "/var/stash/Audio/UISounds"

"System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app" then edit the play lists that follow the format "N##AP.plist" the pound signs are representing the numbers there.

There are other tweaks I know, if you want ill type more.
