cool change to firmware file

    i have found a way to edit ur firmware version. just the look of it obviously.

    navigate (using SSH) to /system/library/coreservices. then open SystemVersion.plist

    where it says (1.1.1-1.1.4) OR (3A110a etc...) u can change it to be your very own creation

    That is pretty cool but why not just download that app that changes it, just seems easier idk

    not trying to be a dick or anything
    but
    this is pretty old....
    u had to change it to install most apps on 1.1.3 when they werent ready for it yet
    and wouldnt let u install them until u changed it
