I was messing around with SSH (copied a book) and all of a sudden, my iPod started reporting the low battery message (it is low though).

However, when i connect it, iTunes don't recognize it, it doesn't charge, and I can't do anything with it. When I tap ok, it gives me the Edit Home screen message. Tried reseting it, but it just comes back to this messages.

    Any help?

edit: sheesh, after about half an hour trying whatever came to mind, I finally managed to get the iPod into recovery mode. Don't think it's going to be jailbroken any more...

It isn't because of the jailbreak.

it charges, don't worry (even if it doesn't show up). Wait 2 hours w/ it plugged then put it in dfu then restore.
Don't forget to back things up.
