I have always wanted an iPhone 4 until recently, I have been watching more reviews and im leaning towards the Galaxy S, What do you guys think? Try not to make it too biased, although I know it WILL be, and plus I haven never purchased a smart phone.

If you have an iPod Touch and you get used to the iPhone within 3.5min.

Why a galaxy S of all android devices? also your country would help as well because if you're US you have better android devices to choose from such as droid x and evo 4g and if you're UK you've got stuff like Desire HD and hero

DO NOT get the galaxy S.

i switched from tmobile to att last week. ive been with tmobile for 10yrs and been waiting for a real smart phone to come out with them.

i upgraded my plan and got the glaxay S Vibrant, exchanged it 2weeks later for another one due some issues (gps, lag, shutting down, battery drain, etc.). the new one had the exact same problems.

lets just say tmobiles network is so slow its insane and locking into a 3g signal was pretty much unheard of.

honestly, the ONLY thing it has that i really liked was the big screen.

i used the phone for exactly 1 month and had nothing but issues out of it. i returned it, canceled my 2yr contract and switched to ATT and got the Iphone4.

and i am completely satisfied with my choice and would do it again and again and again.

DO NOT TRUST SAMSUNG AND THEIR "UPDATES" THAT THEY PROMISE. please google the samsung behold II issues and promises and then read up on how samsung f*cked everyone over that had that phone = ie. no update even after being promised updates.

IF you want Andriod, the best phones are from HTC.

but in all honesty, i would go with the iphone4 100% of the time right now.

2 years from now, andriod may actually have their act together, but right now, what they bring to the table is not on par with iOS or the iphone4.

also, back to the galaxy S phones, even the international version of the phone has the same issues and samsung has promised for at least 4 months for an update. still nothing.

If you plan to get a Android phone, get the Nexus One or the HTC Aria

HTC is better then the Galaxy...

However if you want user friendly go with the ipod 4.

My 3 year old niece has figured out how to look at pics on it... crazy user friendly.

i would actually wait about 1 month when the next HTC phones are released since many of them will be dual core snap dragon processors
