I'm trying to decide between verizons droid and iPhone. My wife (who owns everything of mine...even things I don't own yet) is concerned about coverage.
We are with Verizon, and it's difficult convincing her to go with iphone's carrier.

Does iPhone get a lot of dropped calls?

I heard a rumor that Verizon was going to pick up iPhones at the end of this month. How much of this is true? It would explain Droid's B1G1F sale.

    Thanx

I'm not sure on if Verizon will be picking up the iPhone.

However here with Rogers the basic phones get lot's of dropped calls, very few times you have signal for a long period of time. On the same carrier, I have an iPhone 3G and the signal is much more stronger and more reliable.

I heard the same about all carriers.

I've had my iPhone since August last year.

Never had a problem or dropped call.
However, that largely depends on the area you're in.
