    Considering getting one

    I'm really stuck on which to get:

    64GB w/ 3G iPad G2
    or
    27" 3D OLED monitor + Tivo (when it comes to orcon) +PC TV card + Razr Mamba (mouse).

    I already have a G2 touch MC and a i7 hexacore gaming rig which I just built. I really need a monitor and mouse upgrade and to be able to watch TV on a different channel to my parents in secret. But I can't stand surfing the web on my PC. It's just so overkill surfing the web alone while my PC is idling at 0-2% of it's potential power (I also love using the iPad as I tried it in a store today). Please leave comments as this is a major factor of my decision making.

    As per my message to you, get the lower end iPad and you will still have some money left for a monitor and mouse... or maybe just a mouse

    Yes they do make them that big and I've made my mind up so far iPad G2 is winning.

    iPad + accessories = $1500

    Mouse = $300
    Monitor = $1150
    Tivo/Sky/Freeview + other channels = parents
    TV tuner card = $150

    But if the 2G iPad comes out and it's a vista-styled fail by Apple then are you going to wait for another one?

    Buy other option then have 3rd gen I guess. I'm going to have both in the end anyway just wondering what to get first.

    Definitely the monitor with all that jazz. Seems like the prices you listed are over exaggerated, but guess you will have the money for sure to spend if you save that much. I don't think the Mamba is worth it though; it's too expensive and there are way cheaper mice that perform just as well if not better.
