    Hey i waws just wondering if there was anything illegal or consequential about jailbreaking
    (arrested,sued.Etc)

    Nope.

    The only thing that can possibly happen is the chance of Apple taking away your warranty, but that's only if you let them know you are jailbroken, and that only applies sometimes (it depends on the person).

    Anyways, you won't get into any kind of trouble or anything of that sort.

    It's against the Terms of Agreement.

    wow man don't you know apple scans your ipod to see if you've done that!.


    nah, im kidding they dont. There isnt anything illegal about jailbreaking. Think of it this way, it isnt illegal if you buy an ipod touch and take the back off and put a new one on is it? no, because it is yours to do what ever you want with.

    The worst that will happen is that Apple will refuse to fix it, but you can always just restore before sending, and if you can't restore there's no way for them to find out.

    I think you made a typo. I underlined it.

    But on topic. They cant do anything. There have been stories in the past where people say that Apple took their ipod from them but there was no known truth to that.

    there is no reason to dont jailbreak ur ipod
    if u restore all are normal again

    Well yeah. Jailbreaking your ipod is in no way illegal.
