Hello all, just got a bright new ipod tough 3rd gen for Xmas. Sadly it wont recognise my home wifi.

I am running a belkin n wireless modem router. The security is 64bitWep and my wifi is set to broadcast ssid. My wireless mode is set at 802.11b&802.11g&802.11n

I have checked my laptop and the connection signal reads 802.11n

can anyone kindly provide me with a solution?

    Thanks

What does your iPod say when you connect to your network? Give us a screenshot.. (if you have no idea how to do it.. dont)

It's like.. empty.. No networks at all?

Does your computer find wifi networks.. (other than yours)

If so, try restoring your iPod in iTunes.. If that doesnt help, try contacting apple and try to get your iPod replaced.

have restored the ipod, no improvement.

When I was out today the ipod did recognise other wifi in area so I am pretty sure its a modem issue. May need to acquire another modem? I am thinking my Belkim N Modem Router is not compatable. Irony is I bought it from the ipod wholesaler 12 months ago
