    Hi.

My school has a Wifi network which is protected by a password (I suspect the security is WEP). I have asked many teachers for the password but some refuse to give it to me and other don't know what it is. But the teacher who has set up the network has allowed me to use it if I can acces it without his help.

Do you have any suggestions to how I'm supposed to do this?

Well you have permission to get on it now, but you still need the password.

So there's no way to go around that?

Well thats a bummer. Same situation at my voc school. Im in the IT shop, they decided to shut us down, so they no longer give us the passcode to access the campus wifi.

do what i did at my school.
find an ethernet outlet thats kinda hidden in the school ( most schools have ethernet cables in every room )
and get your own router, plug it in already configured and all, and hide it. i hid mine by taping it under the table.

apparently there is thing where you can track anyone who is conected to your network.. called TraX I think..

But teachers wouldn't eb bothered about paying for this...

But the taping your own router idea is quite impressive..
