Connecting To iTunes

    Whenever I try to update anything or access the iTunes store I get the message "Connection timed out, make sure your connction is active". my connection is active and all the other things on my computer that require internet are working (ie. AIM and IE). I have tried things such as adjusting my firewall settings, reseting my modem, changing cables, and changing my connections. Nothing seems to work. Is there anyone else who had this problem that knows how to fix it? Thanks.

    If it helps This is what I have:
    iPod 32GB 1G
    Windows XP
    iTunes 8

    reinstall your itunes, that should fix.

    or update to latest version.

    tried them both, dont work.
