Hey I'm having a really annoying problem!
I want to rearrange the icons on my touch using SFTP and cyber duck. I try to connect to my touch through the same router my MacBook is on, (D-Link), by using my ip address listen on my ipod, port 22, username root, and password alpine. Everytime i try it refuses the connection! Any fix, please!?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

If you can access the web with Safari it the wifi is of course working. Check the ip address your iPod is using: Settings/Wifi/network name. touch the blue arrow on the right of the network you are using, and the ip address is listed.

also make sure the drop down is set to "SFTP" and not the default "FTP"

ive done that a few times before and been confused.

You may not have ssh installed.

Not sure which jailbreak you used however, go into installer and do this.

First, click on the Uninstall button at the bottom.
Do you see any of these 3 items?
    1. Community sources.
    2. BSD Subsystem
    3. Open SSH

Whichever ones that you DO NOT see, you will need to install.
    If that is the case.
Click on the Install button and look for the above items and install them.

After that, restart your ipod and then try using the cyberduck.

Let me know if that helps.
