Connecting to an apple WIFI network

    hey guys so me and my sisters all have an ipot and i have an apple macbook pro.

    on trips in the car i take an interne card to get internet on my mbpro. so i decided to create a network once i am connected to my internet card via usb. once i created the network i was able to use the ipot and find my network i created and it said connected and it wouldnt work. I changed all the share internet and all that in my sharing prefs. does anyone know what i need to do?

    PS- Yes i know the internet will be super slow but i dont care i just thibk it would be pretty cool to get this to work

    Should just be able to go into the Sharing preferences pane, go to the Internet tab, and turn on Internet Sharing. You'd be sharing from your Internet card (via USB) to Airport. I've got my set to channel automatic and 40-bit encryption (yeah, I know it's not as secure, but no one around me really uses Wi-Fi)... I use Wi-Fi off my iMac all the time...
