I have a verizon cell phone, I saw where you can connect a cable from the cell phone to a laptop and get internet through the phone service. Any way to connect it to the Ipod Touch. I have several weather apps and would like a little more freedom connecting to the internet than my house or free wifi service.

I wish, but I doubt there is a such thing. Sometimes I wish I had an iPhone, but the blackberry curve + ipod touch combo is great.

Blackberry storm looks like it will, but be prepared to get rapped in the ass to do so. (Only phone I was looking at recently.)

Yep, my Blackberry plan was an extra $30 and then tethering was another $15. I spent an hour trying to figure out hot to tether it and then when I got it connected and opened the browser the dreaded Verizon window came up.

The RAZR I was able to hack to get a free connection as long as you didn't go crazy downloading much data. It was good for a quick email check
