    Hey everyone,

I just bought an iPod touch off my mate (2g, 3.0 Jailbroken). I connected to my home network today (full Wifi signal) but I ca't get any internet at all!

On settings I have the IP address, Subnet Mask, Router and DNS fields filled.

    Can anyone help at all?

    Thanks.

This happened to me when I was on 2.0.0 not jb and I would just restart the ipod or wait a few minutes before trying safari again and that would usually work. Now I am 3.0 jb as well and haven't had that problem... sorry I can't help, I'm sure you've already done what I said

Yeah, I've only gotten internet on it once, and it lasted about 5 minutes after i restarted my router and iPod.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

Try reseting Network Settings in your iPod.

I've done that a number of times to no avail

    I've tried:
    - Resetting Network Settings
    - Router On/Off
    - Disabling Encryption on my router
    - 'Forget this network'

I sometimes get a tiny amount of internet, then none. Anyone have any more suggestions? I would really like to get the Wifi working so I can start using Cydia.

    Try on another WiFi spot.
It might be your router, it might be your iPod.

Its probably a router problem. You could reset your router completely but you don't wanna lose the settings that you may have made to it.
