    Crazy to see the retina mbp's already have a multiple week wait time. I was really excited for them, planned on getting one, then decided I'm going to get a base model 15" non retina and upgrade it.

    The Retina MacBook Pro has all the same internal chips like the 15" MacBook Pro? So the only difference is the retina display?

    There's also the all flash storage, better speakers, also, quieter fans. In fact, the innards are quite different; for one there's not a single, semi external-battery like previous models. Instead, there are battery packs ordered a symmetrically under the trackpad and wrist resting areas.

    There's a lot of reasons to get the Retina MacBook Pro over the lower end Pros.

    I got my 2011 gen macbook pro 3 weeks ago and they still allow me to exchange. They even gave me 100 back plus a 100 iTunes gift card.

    Why I love Apple so much is they are gracious enough to see you get what you need. :)

    My friend's iPod touch 4g was serviced a week after it's warranty had expired due to a bad home button and he got a replacement.

    Find me a PC brand that is that generous. Of course, you won't because Apple is a one of a kind company.
