This forum means the whole website?

since there is a forum called iPod touch January App Pack (iPhone Apps)

    http://www.ifans.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=92

and this website is anti piracy?

That's really funny, and a bit hypocritical. The only reason I got it for free was because my iPod had to be restored, and that was after buying the app pack. It only seemed fair that I got it back without paying again. But that's an interesting point you bring up there, BigBoss.

If you paid for the update it's stored on your computer. All you have to do is sync and the computer puts it back on your iPod after a restore anyway. So there's no need to download the "free" stuff from installer.

There IS a thread somewhere that tells you where it is on the computer, and what name it is given

I found the .IPA file and opened it, but my iPod is syncing to another computer now (moved library).

But you can make sure that every one purchased that ?

They'll just think "OMG Apps for free!"

This goes back to the Limewire isn't illegal, but sharing copyrighted content on it is illegal issue.

That forum is for the discussion of the Apps, it isn't the "Get the January Update for Free thread." We do not allow direct links here, but if it is on a repository or something we don't control, it isn't really within our power to deny you the ability to make threads about it.

As you said, I will remember it.

So if moderators delete my thread, then you are responsible for this.

    No I will not be.

I am responsible for what I do, not what any of the other moderators do. What I stated are my beliefs on the subject. You have my word that I will not delete it, but it is up to the other moderators how they will deal with it.
