this article is quite poorly written lol... spelling mistake "quite" should be "quiet".. and hotz' help is not needed, the iphone dev team doesn't need him. as for him getting hired by facebook, pretty surprised actually. I figured once a pirate always a pirate.
Gosh, it's Facebook! You could probably work in your pajamas there after looking at Mark Zuckerberg's past lol. Honestly though, I'm not too surprised. Although Facebook is an enormous company, I think they may probably be a little more lax about who they hire...in terms of past behavior that is. Geohotz can deliver and I can see why he would be hired there.
It's really very common for hackers to turn in to "security analysts." That's probably what has happened here; I mean, he's definitely gotten the know-how and expertise in the field.
