Reporting no problems on an iPhone 4 Redsn0w jailbreak. I'm using Win7 64 bit. I set Redsn0w to WinXP SP3 compatibility mode while running it in Admin mode. Following all the instrucctons, including proper DFU timing will allow for a successful jailbreak.

    Reporting my first problem,
first of all this only applies to people who ran redsn0w over their tethered jailbreak.
You see the problem is, it thinks it's a clean jailbreak, (no packages in cydia) but it isn't since ive got alot of packages installed, cydia just no longer recognizes them. Therefore it tries to double install everything.
I try to install a sbsettings tweak, it tries to install sbsettings along with it, because it thinks i don't have it.
This is kinda problematic since now im unable to install pretty much all tweaks (it tries to install winterboard wich i already have)
any tips? aside from manually deleting everypackage, or restoring? if there's no other option il clean install and reinstall everything

I always restore and re-jailbreak, just like formatting before installing a new OS. It takes longer, but it's cleaner. I suggest you do the same. You only have 64GB max, so it won't take that much time.

Ever since iOS 2.2.1 I've never restored just to update and JB and it's worked fine and saved me a lot of time

Do either of them support animated boot logos? And is it sill in beta or is it the full official debugged release?
