I had an idea earlier-- What if we could save Web Apps to our Ipod, and develop some program that could open the them? Does safari have the ability to open local web pages? I know it can render them, we just need a way to launch the file it self in to Safari. We could have an app similar to installer that allowed for downloading web apps. Think about it, developing apps for the iphone/touch wouldn't just be for genius programmers; the average person with some web dev knowledge could make these "native web apps."

well right now, I have several web pages saved on my ipod and hosted on itself with the apache webserver. I then uses iphone apper to make a link to the localhost directory of the saved page.

This is cool, but I think it'd be even better if we could find a way to avoid safari all together and find a way to run the site by itself somehow. Not sure if thats possible though.
