    Hi all.
    I was wondering if there
    was some sort of application
that made the ipod touch a bit more
    like a normal computer.

    Particularly apps such as
    half decent text editors...
    spreadsheet creators....
apps more like a normal pc/mac
    would have rather than..things
that dont do alot and are only
    good while the novelty lasts.

I would also like to know if there
is some sort of app that makes
the appearance more like that of a
pc/mac with something like a popup menu and stuff.

does anyone know of apps like these?
    thanks

    There aren't really Apps
That can transform it like that
    Jailbreaking makes it easy

    But if you're looking
    for a mobile office suite
    There is Quickoffice.

    To change appearance,
You would need to use some themes
    I recommend Wynd's.

Basically, you can't really get iPod-to-PC transformation apps, but with a little help from Winterboard, and a mobile office suite, things can be a bit more 'comfortable'.

haha, are those really proper haiku's? Is it 5-7-5? I forgot and I suck at counting sylables.

Actually I saw a program that did many of the things you mentioned, it made it look like mac os with a pop out menu and other things, but I can't remember what it was and it was like in beta and hadn't been released yet...

Lmao, that's both really funny, and really sad... at the same time...
