I have a 8GB 1.1.4 Jailbroken iPod Touch. A few days ago, I had to do I format on my computer. After getting the computer up and running, my iPod is not recognized by iTunes. How can I get my ipod touch to be recognized again?

This happened to me too ... it was because i'd just updated to the new iTunes version and the drivers weren't installed .... i tried restarting and it didn't work ...

But when i totally shut don the computer and restarted it with the iPod plgged in, and open iTunes, it then found the device and installed the drivers automatically

    1) Get the latest version of iTunes right now version 7.6
    2) Restore your iPod Touch to FW 1.1.4 or later
    3) If you want jailbreak it using "ZIPHONE"
***If this doesn't work deliver it back to the store where you bought it***
***For any questions send me an email to ipodtouchnerds@gmail.com***
NOTE: The same thing happened to me I delivered it back and they gave me a new one in the store.

    Haha! Deja Vu!
Make sure you have three things.
    1.ZiPhone
    2.iTunes
    3.Master Logic

1.Connect your iPod to your computer
    2.Open iTunes
3.First restart your iPod by pressing the top button and the Home button together.
4.Now just hold the Home button.
5.There should be something happening either one or the other or both
    a) There will be a connect to iTunes logo on the screen
    b) iTunes will detect your iPod in recovery mode
    6. If "b" happened then just click restore an Voila! You're done!
If "b" did not happen, hold the home button a little longer. And if that dosent work. Restart your computer as well.

If that didn't work, connect your iPod to your computer and run ZiPhone.
Then click Advanced > DFU Mode.

    Cheers
