Computer and itunes gone

    some cnut broke into my house and stole my computer. so... where do i start??? my apps, music movies and stuff are on my seperate hd which i still have and i now have a new computer. i was running 3.0 and have jailbroken ipod touch 2g.

    do i need to begin all over again???

    Install iTunes on it and drag everything (iTunes folder) onto the computer.
    After everything is on the computer, drag it from there to iTunes.

    thanks mate. i am having trouble finding 3.0 to download though. can you point me in the right direction???

    Nope. Nobody here can.

    3.0 is a paid firmware.
    Linking to it would be piracy and get you or someone else in trouble.

    Why not upgrade to 4.0?
    It's free.

    and i can still transfer everything and not have to bugger about with jailbreaking my ipod again?

    No, your iPod doesn't have anything to do with your computer. It's fine.

    Just make sure all the music and other files are on your computer prior to syncing.

    Connect to iTunes and press the restore button. Let iTunes do the rest.

    If iTunes puts you on 3.0 again, hit update once your done restoring. You're jailbroken, so it's safer to restore.

    how do i connect to itunes from a new computer that has no itunes???
