I really need your HELP and INPUT
OK First off my ipod touch is a 2nd Generation.
I've had it jailbroken untethered (started off tethered)for about a good 5 or 6 months so im not new to the occasional tech failures but until now, I have been able to fix everything that has troubled my ipod

ITS JUST DEAD~ no clue why

IT IS COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE~ the screen is just black...the computer wont recognize it, itunes wont recognize it (tried multiple computers), home and power buttons dnt work at all...

I've tried putting it into DFU Mode (which seems to be the base of my problems) for what seems like a hundred thousand times and TRUST ME I know how to put it into DFU Mode...I started off with a tethered jailbreak so I definitely have done it before; so please dont respond with instructions on how to put my ipod into DFU Mode USING button commands
So I was thinking maybe I just need to force boot my ipod with some sort of application that can somehow bypass the button commands to put an ipod into DFU Mode

    If thats possible???

I've tried 1clickboot but sure enough it asks you to manually put the ipod in DFU Mode

While holding JUST the home button plug in your Touch. This should put the device into DFU mode.

Try doing it into a different USB port.

My thought is that your iPod (for whatever reason) is completely dead. Try leaving it plugged in for a couple of hours or so and see if anything comes of it.

Does it appear to be taking charge from a wall charger? You should at the very least get the battery icon coming up when charging a fully depleted battery. If not then your screen may be dead and you'll need to look at getting it repaired.
