Completely unjailbreaking your ipod (easy version)

    Ok some people have asked me how to COMPLETELY UNJAILBREAK your ipod, so i'm going to tell you.
    Requirements:
    1.Ipod touch 2g unjailbroken firmware ( you can download it from here [link removed])
    2. Your iPod touch 2g

    Steps to unjailbreak:

    1. Connect your iPod into DFU mode ( Connect to iTunes, Turn iPod off, Hold Home button + Top button for 8 seconds, Release the top button keep holding the home button until you get this:

    2.Then when iTunes pops up click "Shift" + the "Restore" button, AND Pick the ipod touch's unjailbroken firmware which you've downloaded :

    3. Now just wait for it to finish

    You really only had to say restore to official firmware. But I guess this is good for linking to.

    Eh.
    Well, this will help at least one person.
    But if 8 seconds doesn't work for you, try holding home/power for 10 seconds instead and then let go and hold home until iTunes recognizes your iPod.

    Actually you have to resotre to a clean firmware... You can't just hit restore. I got error 13 when I just pressed restore, then I downloaded the firmware from that site and it worked like a charm.
    So this might help someone...

    Zorawar, you are not searching the forums! I know of atleast 5 or more threads on how to do this. This is just like the thread on hacking iMob or w/e.

    why don't you want your iPod to be jailbroken lol, it has so many benefits but it realllllllly slow

    If I do this, will I be able to use my warranty to get my ipod fixed for free?
