Is there way to do this? I'm about to bring my ipod into the store and so far i've DFU restored it and did not restore from a backup. is that all i need to do to make sure they don't find out about my jailbreak?

They don't look hard enough or care that much so just restore and you will be fine. Just don't walk in with Cydia and Installer on the springboard. They will run a diagnostic and give you a new(refurb) one if there is an issue.

Yeah. Nobody cares. DFU mode saves lives.

I hate that term "all traces of jailbreak"
It is a software mod, so when you do a DFU + software restore...it replaces all the software...bam...gone!

Sorry for acting like a jerk, I have just been seeing these threads a lot lately

DFU restore, it over writes EVERYTHING and replaces it with the original contents of the original firmware.
