complete noob to SDK

    Hello. I will start out by saying that I am a complete noob to iPhone SDK.
    now, I have a windows XP running Windows 7. Is their a SDK program for windows. I am having a bit of trouble identifieing the differences between iPhone SDK and Toolchain.

    Please don't flame me for beeing a noob. Help is greatly appreciated.

    the official sdk is only for os x. it includes an awesome ide(xcode) and interface builder.

    The sdk doesn't include xcode! the SDK is an add-on to xcode

    right, the sdk is just templates and the compiler tools for the iphone architecture. i guess my wording was poor; ah well.

    Only for mac os but just get a hackintosh. Easy took me 20minutes. =D (Not sure if it will work for paid version as hardware is not "legal")

    The Official SDK will only and is only for Mac OS X

    The SDK includes Xcode 3.1.
