[COMPLETE] iPod Touch FileSystem Restore?

    Ok, as some of you know, i recently bricked my ipod by corrupting the disk in which it was booting from....so, i was wondering if there was any program/way to completely reset EVERYTHING on the ipod....im talking whole system.

    When you brick your iPod, you can't connect it to iTunes. Also, if you HAVE bricked it, you wouldn't be able to connect it to your computer via. USB. However, if you can SSH you can ask someone for the entire / contents and physically replace all the software. If there's a will, there's a way.

    If your iPod is "bricked", how would SSH be active?
    Throw it into DFU restore by giving it a WTF file.

    No you can, i corrupted my N45AP.plist file. It wouldnt enter springboard, stayed at the spinning cog. Some applications still do launch though, one of which is openssh. So i was able to SSH into my ipod and replace the corrupted file with a good one.

    That's not bricked.
    I think this kid messed up his filesystem by attempting to dual boot, and the same thing that happened to that amateur AriX is happening to him.

    but these "amateurs" as you call them, also assume the second that something isnt working right, that their ipods are bricked. this is usually not the case
