I have the movie Hanc*ck but it suffered a very sandy demise so I figured it wouldnt be to shameful for me to download it from the internet. I want it on the iPod but the CD is too scratched.

I found one that is .avi, is this compatible? If not would i be able to use a converter?
    thanks,
    andrew

PS. anyone that thinks its wrong that im downloading something that i own, dont bother posting.

Will it leave a watermarked banner of the logo like the unactivated AVS converter?

id download the movie as a bit ******* dvd file, open it with a ******* program such as vuze, and convert the file with handbrake to ipod touch format. it gives you the option to change the quality of the video that you will be putting on your ipod so if you need to conserve space leave it at a low quality setting, if space isnt an issue set it to maximum and it will take full advantage of your hd screen on your ipod. it doesnt mess with the file in any way so there shouldnt be any issues

Yeah didn't know about handbrake. So does the file stay around the same size when you keep it high quality?
