    OK - I said it. I can't wait for the bricked ipod issues, not getting the updates or new the programs you pay for in iTunes and all the other issues that will come from the new software. How about the users that don't want to pay for the upgrade and try and tell everyone that the have the right deal...maybe they do. Come on Update!

    I don't think you'll have to "buy the update".
    I think it will be free, as every software update. Maybe they just want you to pay for using the AppStore and the Exchange features. But who knows!

    Nah it makes sense that iPod users will have to buy it. If you want t upgrade something it costs money, but iPhone users will get it for free, they pay a monthly so you automatically get the firmware updates (like every other phone out there).

    Yea I'm ready to buy it. My bet is that it will cost $20 to $50.

    I spoke to a guy in the apple store he told me that it's a free update to 2.0 for iPhones but will cost about £10 for iPod Touches (roughly $20).
