I know this thread may seem a bit contradictory, but since people are usually coming into this website and posting cracked Applications threads, asking questions related to:

    A. Installing Cracked Applications
    B. Asking for Cracked Applications
    C. Asking for cracked applications technical help (All while mentioning names of places to get cracked applications etc.)

Should the moderators do something extra to notify these "newcomers" that they should not post anything like that. Examples:

Making a notice under the iPodtouchfans logo where most people are bound to look:

When people post certain words related to cracked apps, or words that correspond with cracked application websites, have a small notice come up like what we have in place right now to make sure people do not post the same threads:

Please Register or Log in to view images

Also we could make it kind of an agreement, where you have to accept before posting like thechungster suggested:

Excuse the sloppy job I made this in, but these are just examples.

That is actually a good warning, better than the one who insisted of everyone single thread being banned with the word crack in it, such as "My iPhone screen has cracked" That wasn't a good idea, a warning is a much better idea

Edit: You need to put an "I accept" bar at the bottom.

Oh yeah, that is true! Well since I made it already I will just add your post in the thread etc.

Also I made a poll. And don't worry guys, the votes are not public

    BETTER IDEA:

you know when you make a new thread, it shows threads like the one youre posting?

it would be like that- the thread title and the actual post would be "read' and if the words "cracked", "appshare", "[PIRACY]us", or "mobilinstalltion" were mentioned, a message would pop up saying something along the lines of NO CRACKED APPS HERE AT IPODTOUCHFANS!!!

    get it?

This feature is not needed, if people read the rules and know them, it's up to them whether they will break the rules or not.
And if you haven't read the rules, go do so.

Well it does not seem to be working that much due to the fact that many people just skip over that (no offense). But in the end it is your decision since you are the administrator I guess. If you are happy with the way things are and the policies that you have in place, then feel free to close my thread

You don't see it very often because you have been a member for longer than a week. Learn to read.

The amount of new members that post piracy related stuff because they were not aware of the rules has gone down tremendously since this was implemented. The remaining problem cannot be solved technologically, but rather socially.

When your a new user, for the first week or so, there is a poster on the homepage to read the rules.
