The screen would be cluttered with buttons, and controls would be impossible.

All these shooters really are going to work if it becomes a native app with its own set of unique implemented controls.

If this were to happen, you'd need something like

    Movement-Accelerometer/Direction Pad
    Shoot-Tap
    Sprint-Two Finger Tap
    Crouch-2 Finger Downward Swipe
    Buttons-Switch Weapons, Utilities, Grenades

    Something like that

Seems it would be a pain.

I would really love to see (some day), a game controller accessory that just plugs into the dock connector.

The touch/Phone have great graphics, and I'm not saying get rid of the accelerometer controls, they're very cool, but I think being able to free up the screen by removing all of the other on-screen controls/buttons (as well as having controls with tactile feedback) would make for a real PSP/DS challenger (at least I'd buy one before I'd buy a PSP/DS).

    iControl Pad

The code for use has been released so any SDK apps can utilize once production gets into place as well as jailbreak (zodttd has already stated he'll be using it as an option for his emulators)
