i have an itouch (1g i believe) did the 3.0 upgrade.

    questions:

i have some apps downloaded but i don't see them on my ipod. should they automatically show up after sync?

is bluetooth available on a 1g?

    thanks in advance

Make sure they're checked to sync.

    not sure how.
if i go to the left column under applications it shows the ones i have. however i can't do anything with them. if i right click on the icons i can get ome info but that's all. i don't see them under any playlist that can be checked. also on my itouch there is no icon for apps other than the apps store.

okay, now you'll see how clueless. i just figured out there are more pages to the i touch screen. so now i can see the icons but when i touch them it flashes like it's trying to start the app. (ex. topgun shows a quick page saying "loading") then it disapears back to the main screen

In iTunes, the iPod Touch has it's own pages.

Listed under Devices, you will see your iPod if plugged in and ON. Click.

There are a number of Tabs, starting with Summary and ending with Applications.

In Applications, check box the Applications you have you want on your iPod.

This is "a good thing" because, if you are like me, you will have so many Applications you will want to only have the Applications you like most, at that particular time, to be on your iPod.

Does this information solve your problem?
