When you push the home button in, does that close an app, or just minimize it?
Ok, thanks! I just got mine in the mail yesterday and I am trying to figure out how to conserve the battery.
You could turn off wifi when its not in use, like when playing games. And games will take up alot of battery.
also turn your brightness down to atleast under 50%
Steve Jobs does not like background processes. Or a task manager.
hold the home button down for 5 secs. and the app will close properly. if u want to save energy
turn off SSH (JB)
turn off Push(2.0)
turn down brightness
Apps are not allowed to run in the background anyway, so I don't see how force-quitting would save any more battery than simply pressing home to close the app. (In fact, since it takes 5 extra seconds to close that way, you're wasting 5 seconds of your battery life.)
