    look up alarmtunes lite
its free and it has a digital like clock that stays on without the screen locking if your idevice is plugged in
it also lets you use your own music as an alarm instead of the stupid apple ones but thats besides the point

Its close, but what I am looking for is an app that would come up automatically when you plug it in to a power source instead of having to remember to find it and launch it every night... Is there a way to launch an app OVER the lock screen? kinda like intelliscreen but nothing but a black screen with a digital clock that always keeps the screen on while plugged in..
    btw thanks for the reply..

It doesnt stay on... even if you have you phone to never lock... the lockscreen goes black after a few seconds of being locked...

    oh ok
yeah the never lock thing is for when your ipod is already unlocked, it will never go dark

when it is on the lockscreen, the best you can do is keep the screen awake for 60 seconds with "lockscreen dim delay control" from cydia

alarmtunes does keep the screen from locking though if your idevice is plugged in

otherwise, if you insist on something that turns on when you plug in, search cydia and google
