The real-time-clock in my iPod Touch seems to drift a bit. Not much, and within the tolerance for a quarts crystals (less than 10ppm - i.e. less than a second per day), but after six months it's well over a minute wrong.

I have been looking for some software to synch the clock of the iPod, either to a PC, or (using NTP or something similar) to an internet server.

Of course, the ideal would be to use IEEE1588 to sync over wi-fi, but I don't think the broadcom chip supports it.

It shouldn't be difficult to write an NTP client (or to be really simple, use DAYTIME) for the iPod/iPhone, but I haven't found any.
