I think I have the same problem, the date and time just randomly change by itself. And then I look again, and somehow my touch is back to the correct time. This is more of an irritation than a problem for me, but it would be interesting to know where its getting its time from. Is it suppose to update itself? Could it be getting its time from wifi routers, I know when I go for walks the touch is always seeking out connections.

There seems to be neumorus posts on apples site with the same issue, and no resolution.

You need to have the right time on your computer and your ipod
THEN INSTALL A FIX (if 1.1.3-4) it's under 1.1.3-4 Tweaks..I think is called Region Patch or something like that for countries not supported, I don't know it that is the patch, but it worked like a charm with me...and because I put that, everytime my clock on my PC changes, so does my ipod's
