Will it be fixed with a hardware update from Apple?
Hardware update = we all have to buy new iPods... So no, if it's a hardware fix, it'll be released next year when we all have to buy new iPods... I'm not doing this... They might, however, release a software update that might alleviate the situation.
Sorry...I did not mean hardware update. I meant software update. Yeah so I did not notice the clicking at first, but I just took a video and I definitely hear it. Although it is not constant, it clicks like 5 times in a row fast, then stops, then does it again. Apple please fix this problem!
its a software issue... clicking only occurs when wifi is on and when you record using the camera. There is no clicking when you facetime making it a software issue.
So most likely Apple will fix the problem and I will not have to take it back and get a new one? Are your guy's ipod clicking too?
disable wifi whenever you are recording video but im sure you know that already?
i would get a new one
almost if not everyones clicks
Okay. So who has the clicking and are going to deal with it until Apple fixes the problem? Or are you guys exchanging for a new one?
You wait for a new firmware update addressing the issue.
Or simply turn wifi off.
