This is a discussion thread for the "Circa News Sets the Bar for Competitors" story posted on the front page.
This app looked very interesting... It doesn't have much news in it that I'm interested in though. And I can't figure out if you can add more categories... I love the idea though.
Sounds interesting as it gets straight to the point of the news article although it is not available on the iPad. Also the top review on that app store says it's useless for people outside the USA. Is that true?
They are good for reading full articles but I think the key to this app is that it gets straight to the point of the story. I would probably use something similar to this along beside Zite and Flipboard which are 2 of my favourite apps.
Neat idea, but I'm the kind of person who actually would rather read the whole story rather than excerpts. I'd be willing to give it a try if it were available on Android, though.
^I am too, for certain stories, and the app makes it easy to get the big picture with a tap. It may be ported, also. I really recommend this app - it's one of the few apps that I can say I've been excited about in a long time.
