There is noo need to flush down the toilet 2 exploits at the same time let alone bootrom exploits!!!

Chronic dev should not be prideful about this, their time will come, no need to burn 2 exploits, and considering geohot exploit work on 3rd gen devices as well, his makes more sense, not to mention Posixninja mentioned theirs is more valuable.

They didnt release anyy source code, or coding of the exploits
They just talked about the exploit on an informal fashion, that's barely enough information for apple to close it

I agree with this guy, for the first time. This makes the most sense. Release limera1n and keep SHAtter and move on.

You really being very selfish and ignorant, do you not understand that Geohot's jailbreak is better?

    Why? It supports all devices*

*not apple tv 2, new nano

No. egohot should f*** off. If he releases it. the next wave of devices will not have a known exploit. It would take longer for a new one to be found and we get waves of newbs complaining.

And no, what i am trying say here is that no one cant change geohot mind when he is set on something, Chronic Dev on the othewr hand can be the mature ones and take the high road, keeping their exploit under wraps

Do you people really want to burn 2 bootrom exploits!!!!

I agree with Manic Nimord, in this instance its more important to stick to your word rather than bow to the likes of Geohot. I would understand if Geohot came to them before hand, but he did this after an announced ETA, so GreenPoison should be released according to that ETA
